Emitel has again become a Technology Partner of the Impact’25 conference, one of the most important events dedicated to modern technology, economy and innovation in Central and Eastern Europe. This year’s event will happen on 14-15 May 2025 in Poznań. It will bring together several thousand participants, including decision-makers, opinion leaders, government representatives, academics, and core companies and startups from Poland and abroad.
Impact is the place to combine knowledge, experience and inspiration. The event will feature several hundred speeches and discussions held simultaneously on ten interactive thematic stages. As a Technology Partner, Emitel is responsible for the second time for creating and maintaining the advanced infrastructural facilities necessary for professional technical support of such a complex event.
Emitel’s collaboration with Impact began in 2024 when the company was first a technology supplier to the event organisers. This year, the range of services provided has increased significantly – as Emitel will provide live streaming of all key speeches – up to 40 parallel streaming channels – and will prepare and make available content in the VOD formula.
Channel multiplication will ensure simultaneous interpretation and transcription in different languages due to the international nature of the speakers’ presentations. The event will be supported by a dedicated web player, using the Emitel CDN network to host and distribute materials. Recordings- of the conference will also be stored in the company’s secure cloud space and made available for months after the event.
Faced with such a large-scale project again, Emitel created a virtual test environment for the organiser and provided the opportunity to test all key elements and infrastructure integration before the event.
A dedicated teletechnical network, including an IP network, will be prepared on the grounds of the Poznań International Fair to enable constant supervision of all stages, directors’ booths and audiovisual elements used during the event. Emitel will also provide a reliable fibre-optic link and broadband Internet based on radio technology, ensuring adequate capacity and quality of service.
Emitel engineers will be on-site to oversee the system’s technical security and to respond immediately if needed. Emtitel’s services for the conference will also be remotely monitored 24 hours a day by the company’s Network Management Centre located in Krakow’s Krzemionki.
