Emitel, the largest operator of terrestrial radio and television infrastructure in Poland, has become an official Partner of the 64th Krakow Film Festival. The Krakow Film Festival is one of the most important film festivals in Europe. Every year, it attracts thousands of film lovers to enjoy the best film productions from around the world. The festival will take place in cinemas from 26 May to 2 June 2024 and online on KFF VOD from 31 May to 16 June 2024.
The Krakow Film Festival_insider is Poland’s most important celebration of documentary, short and animated cinema. It is a space where award-winning and internationally acclaimed individuals meet those who are just starting out on their film adventure. It is also a place where audiences can confront the creators and makers, as well as the heroes and heroines of the titles presented. It is a festival of gala premieres and a springboard to an international career, but above all a meeting place for those who love cinema – in the intimate halls of Krakow’s legendary studio cinemas and in the virtual world of online screenings.

In addition, during the festival, the Emitel tower in Krzemionki will light up with the colours of this year’s visual identity of the 64th Krakow Film Festival. Emitel will light up the TV tower in the colours of the identification created by Przemek Dębowski. The facility, well known to the people of Krakow, will be illuminated every evening from 26 May to 2 June 2024.

The Krakow Film Festival is on the exclusive list of film events qualifying for the Academy Award® in the categories of short film (fiction, animation, documentary) and full-length documentary, as well as recommending for the European Film Awards in the same categories.
The festival is realised with funds of the: Municipality of Krakow, Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Creative Europe Programme of the European Commission, Malopolska Region, Polish Film Institute. It is co-organised by the Polish Filmmakers Association.
