Emitel is once again supporting one of the most important musical events in the world – the Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition. The company has become an official partner of the 19th edition of the Competition, which will be held from 2-23 October 2025 at the National Philharmonic Hall in Warsaw.
For almost a century, the International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition has promoted the works of the brilliant composer and discovered the best pianistic talents, offering them a ticket to an international career. Supporting this event, Emitel has again become a partner of the Chopin Competition, continuing the tradition that started during the 18th edition of the Competition in 2021.
Thanks to its consistent support for events of the highest rank, the company strengthens its role as a patron of the arts and ambassador of Polish cultural heritage, promoting the values that have been the foundation of its activities for years.
– Supporting Polish culture is a great honour for Emitel. The Chopin Competition is an event of extraordinary importance, which for generations has been building bridges between cultures and creating a community of music lovers around the world. We are delighted that Emitel can again be part of this unique event. It is also an opportunity for us to emphasise the values close to our company – nurturing tradition, supporting young talent and promoting Poland as a country rich in cultural heritage. Partnership in the International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition continues our mission to support initiatives that have a lasting impact on the development of culture in Poland and internationally. – said Maciej Pilipczuk, CEO Emitel.
As part of its cooperation with the Fryderyk Chopin National Institute, Emitel is also a partner of other key events in the years 2024-2025, including the 20th and 21st editions of the ‘Chopin and His Europe’ Festival, concerts related to the composer’s birthday celebrations and events accompanying the Chopin Competition worldwide. The company will also support the activities of the Fryderyk Chopin Museum in Warsaw and Żelazowa Wola, taking care to preserve and popularise the legacy of one of Poland’s most eminent artists.
